Wednesday

YAY it's Wednesday! Wait, that's not actually a good thing. That means I have two more days left of craziness. I'm going to St. George this weekend. Hopefully, I'll get to see my brother on Saturday night. I haven't seen them in a while, and it'll be nice to see them before Halloween.

I'm still getting used to the short haircut. It's definitely different, and new. I miss having tons of things to do with it. I tried round brushing it. SO many people suggested that idea to me, which was awesome. However, I'm not very good at it. So, I've been experimenting and doing fun things with it. I'm getting more and more used it though.

Also, this week my friend Jenny moved in, she didn't have anywhere to live. She didn't want to live with people she didn't know, and to help her with rent (as well as myself) she moved in and we are now sharing a room. Let's hope my other Room mate Diana gets married next year, because I have a feeling Jenny and I will have our struggles sharing a room. I've known her since I was 15, but we didn't become friends until I was 19. She's a very supportive friend, and cares a lot for people. I'm really glad she moved in.

Anyways, that's it for me...

New Week

Okay, so this last week, I cut my hair...not because I wanted to. The Salon I went to fried my hair and dyed the bottom portion blue. So, I had to get my hair cut, isn't that tragic?

Anyways, here is a pic of it.

Everyone has said it looks really good on me, but people lie to you to make you feel better. I'm not sure what I think of it yet, it's gonna take some getting used to I think.

So, do you ever have those friends that don't offer you support? I do, and I'm starting to get tired of it. Rather than give encouragement these friends find your flaws, and tell you what you need to change about yourself. It always cracks me up, because part of me once to say well..."I am who I am so lay off". However, I don't have the guts. The only way I get the guts is through e-mail, and that always ends badly. It's sad, but I need to find a way to talk to these friends. It's hard because I'm a little afraid of their personalities, some of them have been known to fly off the handle and say horrible things. I don't want to deal with that, so how do you approach someone and tell them. "Hey, you need to lay off, and at least share some sympathy for me once in a while"? It's interesting because I have the flu right now, and one of the friends said "it's all about what you eat, and you need to change the way you eat". Well, I advised her that I HAD been changing what I ate, I eat more fruit and Veggies and less meat. I cut out Soda big time, and I drink tons of water. However, it's not enough for her she thinks there is still something there I'm not doing right. Well, that's on her not me. I know what I'm trying to do, and that's enough for me. Just wish I knew how to tell her where to stick it without hurting her feelings. Anyone have a suggestion?

NEW!!!!!!

Okay, so I decided I would come up with a new idea to freshen up this blog. I decided I'm going to write a review every week on a book that I've read. Since I usually read books within a couple of days this shouldn't be a problem. I just finished reading the Fabelhaven series, and LOVED IT! There is a last book to the series that doesn't come out until March or April of Next year. Which is fine, because I'm okay with waiting. The books are meant for kids, but I'm a kid at heart and Love them. If you haven't heard about these books well, then you should at least check them out.

I was so impressed by the books, but first let me say if you are a slow reader plan on it taking about a month to get through the first four books. It's fascinating how the author 'Brandon Mull' writes his characters, and what happens to them. He's not overly descriptive, and it's enough detail that you get what he's talking about. The story is about a Brother & Sister named Seth and Kendra, and it's about the adventures they experience at the farm where their grandparents live. When I say FARM that's an understatement it's much more than that...If you read the books you'll know what I mean.
