Monday's

So, it's Monday. Hooray! I mean BOO!!! Who actually enjoys Mondays? If you say you're one of them. Well, I might make fun of you, cause that's just pure lunacy.

So, I have this dilemma at work, I go outside sometimes with my boss and my other co-worker cause they smoke and I just stand out there (down wind) and talk to them. Well, it's been perceived that I'm a smoker now (I'm Not). My job is important to me, so I would hate for people to think that I'm a smoker, but I enjoy the conversations I get to have with my boss. We don't get to talk like that when we're at our desks, so it's nice. However, I'm not sure if I should think it's important or not what others at work think of me. So, now...I'm not sure what to do. Should I stop going outside so others at work don't think I'm a smoker? Or should I continue to go outside (have some good conversations) with my boss and say to heck with everyone else? I'm not sure, let me know what you think?

Even if all you only talk about is personal stuff you will build a better relationship with your boss. I have found that it's never just personal though and you will miss out on work stuff too. I would keep going out to talk while they smoke. I don't think it matters what others think. You know the true.

This reminds me of a Friends episode where Rachel started smoking so she could “bond” with her boss about all the office gossip.

Yeah, I think of that same Friends episode. SO TRUE!!!
