This is the ring I was wearing that flew off my finger and smacked this lady in the back of the Head.

This is my face after it knocked her out and her husband punched me

Okay, I'm really joking, I did hit a lady in the back of the head with a ring, but I didn't get punched...haha..I felt bad and laughed at her though..Guess I'm a jerk right?!

Anyways, this week has been a good week. I'm going back to school, and I'm really excited about it. It's about time I find something..you know? I started yesterday, and I go back tonight for more testing. Hooray!

I find it funny that I am very comfortable sharing information about myself, and don't mind when other people know things about me. I talk to people in grocery store lines...I talk to people everywhere...but sometimes and depending on the person I'm with...people don't like it when I do. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it, I'm approachable if I do it. I would much rather be approachable than be ignored because I don't like talking to other people. I guess that's me though, and if people don't understand it well that's there loss for sure.

Anyways, that's it from me this week. Take Care!

Busy....

So, I've been really busy this week...and I'm WAY tired. I'm sure if you read any of my previous posts...I barely get sleep...HAHA oh well it's my own fault..So, I don't really have much to talk about today. So, a friend of mine sent me this joke. Hope you like it:

Never question a drunk

I was shopping at the local supermarket where I selected:

A half-gallon of 2% milk,
A carton of eggs,
A quart of orange juice,
A head of romaine lettuce,
A 2 lb. can of coffee, and
A 1 lb. package of bacon.

As I was unloading my items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk
standing behind me watched as I placed the items in front of the cashier. While the cashier was ringing
up the purchases, the drunk calmly stated, 'You must be single.'

I was a bit startled by this proclamation, but I was intrigued by the
derelict's intuition, since I was indeed single. I looked at the six items on the belt and saw nothing
particularly unusual about my selections that could have tipped off the drunk to my marital status.

Curiosity getting the better of me, I said: 'Well, you know what, you're
absolutely right. But how on earth did you know that?'

The drunk replied, 'Cause you're ugly'

I'm thanful for the things the thieves who broke into my house did not steal.

I'm thankful for my Awesome Parents
-------------------------
I'm thankful for my brand new calling over the activities committee
-------------------------
I'm thankful I get to go to the temple
-------------------------
I'm thankful I can say I have friends
-------------------------
I'm thankful I have a job

Most of all...I'm thankful for my Father in Heaven

I think of the trials we get faced with in life, and I remember that although it's never easy it's supposed to be for the greater good in the long run. I'm thankful that i have all the things listed above. A friend of my family has this poster up at work that is called a "Blessing" board. I think it's vital to list the things in our lives that we are thankful for and feel blessed to have. Anyways, Hope everyone has a good week.

Police

I'm not a very big fan of the police, at least not anymore. My Dad might not like that I'm saying this right now, but if it's how I feel than he can't change that right? Anyways, so on New Years Day I was driving to the grocery store, I was going 51 in a 45 mph speed limit zone. Well, I got pulled over. Yes that's right, the officer said the speed limit was 40. How do you fight that? I double back to check, and sure enough it was 45 not 40 like the officer said. So...what do you do? The officer has every right to pull you over even if you are going 6 miles over. So, I don't like cops anymore...I have other reasons not to like them anymore, but I won't get into that.

That's it from me this week...hope all is well with everyone.

New Year

Posted by brookeaprilrain

SOOOOO glad it's a New Year or so I thought until I got pulled over yesterday on NEW years day...sheesh! I was only going 6 miles over the speed limit, but I guess the cop was supposed to get people going just over 5 miles. Oh well, I've decided now that I dislike the police even more. I love my Dad, but do not like the police. He was a total jerk. ugh.

Anyways, for New Years my singles ward threw a huge party, we did Karaoke, we had a dance, we had three different game rooms. It was a lot of fun, but very exhausting. The girl that was supposed to be in charge got sick, so I had to take on Everything. Luckily I labeled the rooms so everyone knew which room was which. There was a lot to do. Our ward provided a ton of food, and it was just so much fun. Plus, I set up my friend Heidi with my friend Brian, and he's calling her to go out with her again. I'm so excited, I really hope it works out between the two of them. They have a few of the same interests so we'll have to see where it goes.

As for me, no dating prospects, I'm actually quite content being single. I'm really active in my singles ward and we have tons of activities. I wonder where i find the time to do half of them. I love it though, and I'm happy. I have a fantastic bishop who listens and really cares he's like a Dad in a lot of ways.

Anyways, that's all from me, hopefully the year will get better as it progresses. Keep your fingers crossed for me...I'm sure trying to be positive...
